Inspected and awarded 4 stars for quality by the AA, Rock Farm is a well-appointed and tastefully converted farmhouse, some parts of which date back to the 1700s. It is beautifully located in the hills above Glossop, situated approx 1/4 mile off the road at the end of a farm track.

We pride ourselves on offering a different kind of B&B where we only take one "party" at a time (a party being anything from 1 - 5 people). This means that guests have their own large bathroom, sitting room with log burning stove and dining room/sun lounge available all day, all quite separate from the rest of the house. We also have a large garden which guests are welcome to use.

A warm welcome is always assured and because we only take one party at a time, our guests are made to feel part of the family.

All this and yet we are only about 30 minutes from Manchester city centre and Manchester airport. Our location makes us the ideal base for those wishing to explore the Peak District.

We welcome children of all ages and we can also provide stabling/grazing for horse riders wishing to explore the fantastic bridleways of the Dark Peak including the Pennine Bridleway.

Hearty farmhouse breakfasts, including our own eggs from
our "ex-bat" hens are provided and vegetarian breakfasts or lighter breakfasts are available if required. Evening meals and packed lunches can also usually be provided if advance notice is given.
