Bring your horse to Rock Farm
and enjoy the fantastic bridleways of the Dark Peak area.
As horse owners ourselves we have detailed knowledge of the superb hacking
on our doorstep including the Pennine Bridleway (click
here for information).
We can provide maps, guides and packed lunches and a baggage transfer service
can be arranged.
We have four stables situated adjacent to the farmhouse and two separate paddocks
for guests' horses. Bedding, hay and feed can be provided and there is
parking for trailers and small lorries.
We also offer a "park and ride" service
for riders wanting to explore our local bridleways. Park your trailer/lorry
at the farm
and we will provide a detailed map (route distance of your choice). On your
return enjoy home-baked cakes and tea along with washing down facilities for
your horse. This gives you the benefit of someone knowing where you are and
when you are due back along with an emergency contact should things go wrong.
We can offer routes to suit everyone from 5 miles to 30 miles.
