From the M1
Coming North
Leave at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield, then A619 to Baslow. Then take A623 towards Stockport. Turn right onto the A6 and at the roundabout turn left signed Glossop. At Federal Mogul Roundabout turn right. Follow the road for about 1 mile and then turn right under the railway bridge onto the A624. Follow this road through Hayfield and Little Hayfield. About 1 mile after Little Hayfield at the brow of the steep hill turn left into Monks Road signed Charlesworth.
Follow Monks Road for about 1 mile, go past left hand turning to "Back Rowarth" and about 150 yards after this turning turn left onto farm track (just at the brow of the hill). Follow the farm track taking the right fork past Higher Plainsteads and through gateway towards Rock Farm which is at the end of the track.
Coming South
Leave at junction 37 and take A628 towards Manchester. Then take the B6105 signed Glossop. Go through Glossop town straight on at traffic lights and take the A624 towards Chapel en le Frith. Just after the Grouse pub take the right hand turn at the brow of the hill in to Monks Road signed Charlesworth.
Follow Monks Road for about 1 mile, go past left hand turning to "Back Rowarth" and about 150 yards after this turning turn left onto farm track (just at the brow of the hill). Follow the farm track taking the right fork past Higher Plainsteads and through gateway towards Rock Farm which is at the end of the track.
From the M6
Coming North
Leave at junction 17 and take A534 to Congleton, the A536 to Macclesfield, then the B5470 to Whaley Bridge. Through Whaley Bridge and on through Chapel en le Frith. Shortly after Morrisons look for a left hand turn signed A624 Glossop. Follow this road over the speed bumps to the Federal Mogul Roundabout. Straight on at this roundabout and after about about 1 mile turn right under the railway bridge onto the A624. Follow this road through Hayfield and Little Hayfield. About 1 mile after Little Hayfield at the brow of the steep hill turn left into Monks Road signed Charlesworth.

From the M67
Follow the M67 to its end. Take the A57 into Motram. At traffic lights turn right and follow the road through Broadbottom, over the narrow bridge and up into Charlesworth. At the T junction turn left, then right by the war memorial. After about 1/4 of a mile take the right turn onto Chapel Brow signed Hayfield into Monks road. After approximately 2 miles look for a layby on the left hand side. Turn right just after the layby onto the farm track.
